Book: The Instruction – Living the Life Your Soul Intended
Author: Ainslie MacLeod
Publisher: Sounds True Inc. Canada 2007
This book was introduced to me by a friend when I was two months into the course. I always find the timing of life fascinating and this book I realised was a must read considering we were learning about and coaching on purpose and identity at the time.
The Instruction is a book for those who are seeking greater spiritual well being and a better understanding of their life’s purpose. It formulates its reasoning on the belief that ‘as the soul makes its way through its many lifetimes the soul gradually overcomes fear and self interest. Each lifetime builds on the successes and failures of the last, until one finally learns that love and understanding are the forces that unite us’.
It is written by Ainslie MacLeod a psychic guide who has a unique perspective on the subject of the soul. He discusses the three planes of existence, physical, astral and causal and communicates with elevated spirit guides whose purpose is to help those of us on the physical plane to connect with our soul’s purpose.
The Instruction brings you on a journey, step by step through twelve doorways. The doors to:
| * Consciousness |
* Transformation |
| * Perception |
* Wisdom |
| * Acceptance |
* Creativity |
| * Achievement |
* Spirituality |
| * Recovery |
* Enlightenment |
| * Balance |
* Happiness |
Each door leads to a meditation where you call on your spirit guides to support you on your journey of discovery to living the life your soul intended. He regularly intersperses the text with experiences he has had with clients to affirm his perspective.
I feel the book is intended for people who are open minded to all possibilities of living. I include this in my reviews because although I found the exercises in this book a bit tedious I feel it does stimulate thought processes and gives an alternative way of assisting someone’s quest of finding their life purpose.
