Of course the answer depends on the course that you took.

If you took a course that includes improving  your self awareness – then your skills will help you make informed decisions for the rest of your life – we all need these skills !

If you chose to take a short certificate course, well then it adds weight to your CV but you can’t practices as a professional coach.

If you successfully complete an accredited diploma in life coaching then you can set yourself up as a professional coach and once insured are legally entitled to practice – and therefore free to take on paying clients.

What to look for in a Life Coach Training provider?

You really want to do your research on this and find established successful providers of Life Coach Training – 5 years minimum running. Make sure they are accredited with the LBCAI and are both FETAC and FAS recognised for content and or training.  It also is a huge advantage if they run other courses  as it shows a depth of experience and knowledge that will get transferred to your course.

Questions to ask:

Who designed the course? How experienced are they as coaches?

Is this course a franchise?

Who are the facilitators? How experienced are they as coaches and as facilitators?

What level of support will I get during the course and afterwards?

What qualifications can I get from Life Coach Training ?

You can obtain the following qualifications

  • A Certificate of Attendance
  • A Certificate in Life Coaching
  • A Diploma in Life Coaching
  • An Accredited Diploma in Life Coaching with FETAC award

A professional Life Coach Training provider will deliver courses that result in a professional qualification
